My name is Suzanna Scorcia, and I've been modeling since I was 17 years old. Admittedly, I first joined the industry in efforts to find comfort on camera for my job as an actress. I was very stiff, and didn't believe my features and figure were beautiful enough for the industry. I remember two instances in the beginning of my career where a photographer said my neck and nose weren't suitable for certain shots, and I needed to slim down quite a bit to be successful. That feedback didn't hold me from booking projects, but it did alter my confidence. 

When I first began, I was eager to model weddings gowns more than anything. I reached out to bridal companies across New York and Connecticut, and networked my way into several editorial projects over the course of two years. I was published in bridal blogs and magazines, and in one case, featured on the designers personal website. What I lacked in confidence, I began to gain in experience. I networked myself into more unfamiliar gigs, like runway showcases (designer Alex Tieh - 2020), live events (CC Sabathia's Charity Golf Tournament - 2021), and brand deals (GRANDE Cosmetics - 2022). 

I am 5'6, and slim curvy. And though I was once lead to believe that those features were holding me back, we now live in a world where they are features that thrive. I am grateful to models like KhrystyAna and companies like Fenty for giving me careers to aspire to. What started as a tool for another art grew into a career I've very passionate to be apart of. The standards of beauty have expanded through the years, and I am very proud to be apart of that journey.
